Rejected at the Altar, Claimed by the Alpha King

I stood at the altar in my heavy bridal veil, waiting to marry the Alpha heir to save my family's heavily indebted pack.

But the groom never showed up. Instead, his enforcer announced to the entire aristocracy that Desean Montgomery had fled the territory, canceling our wedding because I was a "wolfless freak."

My mother looked at me like a defective piece of property, cursing me for bankrupting us. The groom's father stepped forward, proudly declaring to the press that his elite bloodline wouldn't be tainted by a cripple. The cathedral erupted in cruel laughter and flashing cameras.
