The fat Luna

I was born with the gift of motherhood—my body made to bear the heirs—but it was never enough for my mate.

He despised my curves, calling me crude and disgusting, never once touching me with love.

He turned to my cousin Dariya, a slender beauty, seeking to marry her and discard me as his second mate.

Then, they cast me out. Accused of losing my purity, they threw me into the filthy streets, where I was beaten and left to die.

But death wasn’t the end.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back to the moment my mate had chosen my cousin.
