Dangerous Devotion: Love with an Obsessive Boy
Chapter 4
Liam Harper was the eldest son of the Harper family, which actually held quite a high social status, though not as high as yours.
Originally, the Harper family had planned to arrange a marriage between their younger daughter and you, as your public image was that of a decent person.
But you said, "Mrs. Harper, actually, I've liked Liam for a long time."
Mrs. Harper was surprised, but remembering that you and Liam were from the same high school and likely had quite a bit of interaction, and given that their family was quite open-minded, she agreed to the marriage. Moreover, your family's influence was broader, so of course, they agreed to the engagement.
Thus, in the second year after your graduation, you and Liam got married.
At first, you wore a mask of gentleness, treating him well. You and he maintained a respectful distance.
After about two or three months, once you had prepared the basement, on Liam's nineteenth birthday, you locked him in the golden cage.
From then on, day and night, he could only endure everything alone.
You still remember his incredulous gaze, his tearful pleas, his helpless and frightened appearance, his embarrassed face-covering...
His fierce resistance in the past made you particularly excited. Sometimes you wanted him to be more obedient, after all, you were tired after a long day and wanted to relax in a gentle embrace, but he was so disobedient.
Now he's much more docile, but you find yourself missing his previous demeanor.
"Didn't you used to cry and make a fuss about wanting to go home? Why don't you want to go back now?"
His hands clenched into fists, his voice still hoarse. As he spoke, tears fell uncontrollably. He lowered his head, not letting you see his post-climax expression.
"I thought..."
He couldn't finish his sentence, but you knew what he wanted to say.
After all, he was now a "dead" person. In what capacity could he go see his parents?
Moreover, his parents had their own new children now. How would they care about this child from a previous marriage?
