Kept His Child, Then I Ran

Chapter 1

1,006 words

After my fiancé Bridges was stolen by my sister Gina, I forced myself on him and got pregnant.

Although Bridges had a terrible temper, he was handsome, so I decided to give birth to this superior offspring.

Bridges was furious, saying he'd make me wish I was dead when he found me. I lived in fear and hid for five years.

Until one day I went to pick up my son from school, and there was a crowd of people at the gate saying someone was fighting.

I eagerly pushed through the crowd, ready to watch the show.

In the open space at the school entrance, two figures were grappling with each other.

The tall one wore a black trench coat, his back straight as a pine tree.

The short one wore an elementary school uniform, his little legs kicking rapidly, fists small but every punch landing on vital points.

I rubbed my eyes, staring at these two people who looked remarkably similar.

This was a disaster. What was wrong with this father and son? They'd never even met before—how could they be fighting?
