The day I discovered my husband, Grimshade Pack Alpha Elias, cheating for the first time, I proposed rejecting the mate bond.

But he locked me in the bedroom for five days and four nights, going through two boxes of condoms.

Afterwards, he looked at me helplessly and explained:

"Violet, someone slipped me a heat drug. I only had sex with Fiona because of that. You have to forgive me."

The second time, I witnessed him accompanying Fiona to her prenatal checkup at the hospital. I proposed rejection again.

He slammed me against the wall, eyes blazing with fury:

"You want to break the mate bond? Over my dead body. You have to trust me—Fiona is a spy sent by the Dubois pack. I have to keep her close. It's part of my plan. Once she has the baby, I'll send her away immediately."

But later, Fiona had a miscarriage, and everyone suspected I was behind it.

Fiona grabbed my throat like a madwoman: "If you hate someone, hate me! Why did you harm my child?!"

Even Elias looked at me with disappointment: "I told you to wait a little longer. Why did you go after my child?"

With that, he ordered me locked in the torture chamber.

"You can come out when you've repented."

I curled up in the corner and sent a message to a professional agency on my phone:
