"What's all this noise? What if it disturbs our baby?"

"Even if it's what my wife wants to eat, the baby will still absorb the nutrients!"

"If you still want to be the godmother, get to the kitchen and start cooking!"

Ashley flinched at his shout, tears of frustration immediately welling up in her eyes.

But no matter how upset she was, she could only bite her tongue and head to the kitchen to prepare the ingredients.

That night, I once again heard Ashley's breakdown coming from the next bedroom.

Mark, looking troubled, wrapped his arms around Ashley to comfort her.

Ashley, full of resentment, pushed Mark away.

"If this keeps up, she's going to drive me crazy!"

Mark sighed helplessly.

"Ashley, just bear with it for a little longer!"

"I'm already figuring out how to get money from her company. As soon as the baby is born, we'll be completely free!"

"Then you can deal with her however you want!"

Ashley's mood finally improved a little, and she snorted.

"How are you going to get the money? Didn't you say her company doesn't have much cash?"

"It's simple! She's already given me full management of the company. Soon, I'll use the company's name to take out predatory loans!"

"The company is Cassidy's, so she'll be the one to face the music!"

"Perfect! I'm definitely going to give that bitch what she deserves then!"

Listening to their conversation from inside, a faint smile played on my lips.

Who would be "giving what they deserve" to whom was still up in the air!

What Mark didn't know was that, thanks to my manipulations during this time, the company had already been transferred to his name.

Even the legal representative of the company was now Mark.

If they wanted to cause trouble, they were in for a world of pain!
